To date, according to Gagloeva, 228 patients are undergoing treatment for coronavirus throughout the Republic, of which 189 are being treated at the RMMC in Tskhinval, and 39 people are in district medical institutions.
As of Friday morning, 1046 citizens who are sick with coronavirus are registered with doctors. In total, during the pandemic, 14 residents of the Republic died from the consequences of the coronavirus in South Ossetia.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in South Ossetia, more than 8 thousand PCR tests have been carried out. In the Republic, by the decision of the operational staff, the functioning of secondary, professional and higher educational institutions, children's institutions, entertainment centers, attractions, weddings, etc. was suspended until November 15.
In addition, at the end of October, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, at the request of the Republic of South Ossetia, deployed a mobile multidisciplinary hospital with 100 beds to provide medical care to patients with a confirmed diagnosis of a new coronavirus infection.
