Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Ossetia to Russia Znaur Gassiev took part in the discussion of the work of the International Forum "Great Heritage - Common Future".
As reported by the press service of the diplomatic department, Gassiev took part in the event at the invitation of the leadership of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
"At the meeting with the head of the Department of Inter-parliamentary Cooperation Igor Semenenko, the Ambassador, on behalf of the people and leadership of South Ossetia, greeted the deputy corps of the State Duma and noted the importance of the event under discussion for the Republic," the Embassy has noted.
The event will take place on April 28-29, 2025, on the initiative of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia in the hero city of Volgograd and is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The Parliament of South Ossetia will participate in the Forum along with the delegations from the CIS, Asia, Latin America and Europe.
