18 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in South Ossetia; 127 studies conducted in total

According to the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, as of Thursday morning, there are 1707 registered and confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in the Republic; 584 people have already recovered.

As reported to IA "RES "by Deputy Head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee Anna Gagloeva, the studies carried out during the day have detected the new COVID-19 virus in 18 citizens.

"In total, 127 studies were carried out in a day. 37 people were removed from the medical register the day before (584 recovered over the entire period), 1123 people remain under medical supervision," Gagloeva said.

For the entire time of the pandemic, 10496 studies were carried out in the PCR laboratory of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee.

In South Ossetia, mass events are prohibited, residents of the Republic are obliged to wear masks and observe social distance.
