Over the past week (from January 1 to January 10), 224 people turned to the reception and sorting department of the RMMC of South Ossetia. This was reported to IA "Res" by the head of the outpatient medical center Tamara Sanakoeva.

“Since January 1 of this year, 18 people have received a referral for computed tomography of the chest organs, nine patients have been hospitalized. 270 patients have been tested in the admission and triage ward and at home,” she said.

Sanakoeva has noted that if from December 1 to December 10, 487 patients were examined in the ward, then today there are fewer calls.

“One doctor was receiving patients, but if there were more calls, a second doctor would be called. On January 1, seven people applied to the admission and sorting ward, on January 4 - 36, etc.,” Sanakoeva noted.

The admission and triage ward of the RMMC has been functioning since November 2 on the basis of an old maternity hospital in Tskhinval, where patients are examined with an assessment of the severity of their condition, and the need for emergency hospitalization in one of the buildings of the RMMC, as well as the possibility of outpatient treatment with a recommendation at home.
