South Ossetia has lost more than 60 people died from the coronavirus. And this is a great loss, " President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov said at the meeting of the operational staff, held on Wednesday.

"It is too rash for every person to take this disease lightly. It is imperative to take care of yourself," Bibilov said, noting that thanks to the measures taken to close the road from the Russian Federation, it was possible to minimize losses from coronavirus.

At the same time, the head of state spoke about vaccination, stressing that the right of everyone to undergo it if desired.

"The purchase of vaccines also depends on whether the parliament meets for a session or not. I myself am ready to undergo vaccination as president and citizen, because I consider it necessary in order to protect against the progress of coronavirus. Undoubtedly, it will be voluntary, but we must give the opportunity to anyone who want to be vaccinated, "- said Bibilov.

The head of state once again appealed to parliamentarians who boycott the work of the parliament, to show a civic stand and vote for amendments to the 2020 budget and adopt the country's main financial document for 2021.

According to him, the adoption of the budget of the pension fund, the bill on support of small and medium-sized businesses, which for the first time is supposed to be allocated about 50 million, also depend on the session.
