As of July 8, 51 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID - 19 are being treated in the "red zone" of the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center of South Ossetia (RMMC), Eleonora Dzhioeva, the Republic's chief infectious disease specialist, told the “Res” news agency.
“Over the past day, three patients were admitted to the “red zone” of the medical center, one person was discharged with recommendations to continue treatment on an outpatient basis. 22 people are receiving oxygen subsidies. There is one patient in the intensive care unit,” said Dzhioeva.

The number of infected people since the beginning of the pandemic is 3650, 3419 have recovered. In total, during the pandemic in South Ossetia, 24,975 tests were carried out for coronavirus infection.
