The Defense Ministry of South Ossetia Ibragim Gasseev took part in the opening ceremony of the military-technical Forum ARMY-2021 and the International Army Games in the Patriot park near Moscow. According to the press service of the Defense Ministry, a team of the national army, which is taking part in the main competition of the games "Tank Biathlon», also became a participant of the event.
The start of a large-scale international event was given by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The head of the Russian state wished the participants and guests of the Forum fruitful work, and the representatives of the teams participating in the army games every success.
He expressed confidence that the holding of the Forum and the games would serve to develop international military cooperation, attract the country's armed forces to the defense, innovative industries in the field of science and technology, talented young people who are ready to devote their lives to serving our people and our Fatherland.
The VII International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2021" is one of the leading exhibitions of weapons, military and special equipment, as well as an authoritative platform for discussing the development and strengthening of international military and military-technical cooperation. It is taking place from 22 to 28 August 2021 at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center, at the Kubinka airfield and Alabino training ground simultaneously with the International Army Games. Representatives of almost a hundred countries are taking part in the Forum and games.
