In Moscow, President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov met with the Ombudsman for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatyana Moskalkova, the press service of the head of state reported.
The meeting was attended by the Presidential Commissioner of the Republic of South Ossetia for Human Rights Inal Tasoev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation Znaur Gassiev.
"Tatiana Moskalkova told about the history of the establishment of the institution of the ombudsman for human rights in the Russian Federation, about the work with citizens' appeals and the international activities of the organization, showed the museum and demonstration stands, meeting rooms and conferences.
Anatoly Bibilov and Tatyana Moskalkova discussed issues of cooperation, prospects for participation of the South Ossetian human rights ombudsman in the international events, "the press service said.
During the meeting they also discussed the possibility of including the staff of the Office of the Presidential Commissioner of South Ossetia in educational programs.
