On Thursday, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) donated additional equipment to the South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee to support the work of the PCR laboratory.
Marina Tedety, a public relations specialist of the organization, told the “Res” news agency, that the cargo, formed at the request of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of South Ossetia, included air recirculating irradiators, test tube racks and uninterruptible power supplies.
Since the start of the pandemic, the ICRC is in constant contact with health and epidemiological authorities to possibly support efforts to combat the spread of COVID-19.
