As part of the visit to Sochi, on December 20, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Dmitry Medoev and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba, the press service of the Republic’s Foreign Ministry reported on Tuesday.
Dmitry Medoev congratulated Inal Ardzinba on his appointment as minister, wished him fruitful work and invited him to visit South Ossetia at any time convenient for him.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation, exchanged views on topical issues of mutual interest.
The parties have expressed confidence that constructive interaction between the foreign affairs agencies of the fraternal republics will continue to expand and deepen.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of South Ossetia to Abkhazia Oleg Botsiev.
