Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Medoev sent a congratulatory message to his Russian colleague Sergei Lavrov on the occasion of the professional holiday - the Day of the Diplomatic Worker of the Russian Federation, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia reported.
"Representatives of the Russian diplomatic school are traditionally distinguished by adherence to principles and traditions laid down for centuries: openness and consistency of decisions and actions, strict adherence to international law, equal cooperation based on mutual respect and trust are the fundamental priorities of Russia's multi-vector foreign policy," the message of congratulations reads.
According to Medoev, under the direct leadership of Lavrov, Russian diplomats in the central office of the Russian Foreign Ministry and its foreign agencies firmly guard the country's national interests, confidently and effectively protecting the rights of their fellow citizens and compatriots abroad.
