The President has stressed that Russia had no other choice but to carry out this special operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine, since Ukrainian power was usurped by the Nazis and fascists.
He expressed his full support to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, noting that "this had to be done in order to save the civilian population of Donbass, who had been dying for eight years."

He has noted that neo-Nazis occupied Ukraine.
“It's a shame that Europe is supporting them in this. And it completely depends on the policy pursued by America, the European Union, one might say, is the US state.
It is wrong to say that Russia was left alone with its problems, many states both in Europe and in the East understand the actions that it has taken,” the head of state stressed.
