The leadership and personnel of the internal affairs bodies of South Ossetia provided financial assistance to the refugees from the Donetsk People's Republic evacuated to South Ossetia, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs handed over money to the citizens of the DPR and wished them peace and tranquility.
“You have experienced a lot; the war has come to every family. But do not despair - it will end soon, and your children will again be the happiest. The people of South Ossetia have already gone through this and we understand you like no one else,” said Spartak Mardanov, Deputy Interior Minister of South Ossetia.
Currently, there are 42 people in South Ossetia, 24 of them are children under 12 years old. The refugees were accommodated on the territory of the Victoria Hotel in Tskhinval.
