Deputies of the Parliament of South Ossetia delivered another batch of humanitarian aid to the Donbass for military personnel participating in Russia's special operation in Ukraine.
The humanitarian cargo was accompanied by deputies Garry Muldarov, Robert Ostaev and Arsen Kvezerov. As Deputy Garry Muldarov told the IA “Res”, the aid has already been delivered to its destination.
"We brought to Melitopol all the most necessary things for our military guys. Products and things were chosen taking into account the need. Water, non-perishable food, medicines, etc. were delivered," Muldarov said.
The deputy considers it important to support the servicemen participating in the special military operation in Ukraine: "South Ossetian servicemen should feel the support of fellow countrymen."
Muldarov has expressed his gratitude to all those who helped collecting humanitarian aid. He has noted that this time many more citizens of the Republic took part in the collection of aid, and their desire to help arouses respect and admiration.
“When collecting humanitarian aid, we saw amazing unity and a great desire of people to help our guys; it's very nice to see. Thanks to everyone for their support and help,” Muldarov said.
The deputy has stressed that many people helped with money, with which they bought the necessary food.
“President of the Republic Alan Gagloev, as well as the public organization of veterans “Combat Brotherhood”, the administration of the Tskhinval district and many others provided great support in collecting the aid. The State Song and Danse Group Simd donated to us the proceeds from a charity concert held in support of the servicemen participating in the special military operation. With these funds, we also purchased food,” said the MP. Entrepreneurs and residents of the Republic also helped with food, medicines and other household goods.
The initiative to send humanitarian aid was made by the MPs with the support of the of the legislative body.
