The situation on the South Ossetian-Georgian section of the state border of the Republic remains stable and predictable, reports the State Security Committee of South Ossetia.

"There are no reinforcements of the forces and means of the Georgian security structures near the territory of South Ossetia. There is no increase in the activity of light-engine aviation flights, including unmanned ones, in the border zone," the KGB said.

They have reminded that in accordance with the decision of the Security Council of the Republic of South Ossetia on the periodic resumption of the work of checkpoints on the South Ossetian-Georgian border, from the 20th to the 30th day of each month, the Razdakhan and Pereu IGGPs function.

“Movement through them is carried out exclusively by residents of the Ksani Gorge and the Sinagur-Karzman zone on foot. No incidents have been recorded.

The Border Service of the KGB of the Republic of South Ossetia, in cooperation with the Border Guard Service of the FSB of Russia in South Ossetia, is implementing measures aimed at maintaining the border regime and ensuring the safety of the citizens of the Republic living in the border settlements," the agency noted.

They have added that the Committee draws the attention of the residents of the Republic to the fact that the publications posted over the past month on a number of Telegram channels about the alleged increase in tension on the South Ossetian-Georgian border and regular violations of the South Ossetian airspace by unmanned aerial vehicles do not correspond to reality.
