A charity event for the Ossetian fighters participating in the special military operation was announced by the public organization "Civil Platform". One of the activists, a journalist Arzu Mammadova has written about this on her page.
The collection of humanitarian aid began on Monday.
"The collected things and essentials will be directly transferred to the front. The collection point will be working in the building of the Alan Hotel on Geroev Street from December 12," she has written.
Charitable actions to help the Ossetian fighters are held in South Ossetia since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine. According to the organizers of the action, the fighters need special equipment, warm clothes and other assistance. the entire list will be presented to those wishing to take part in it.
Earlier it was reported that President of the Republic Alan Gagloev visited the special military operation zone in order to support the fighters from Ossetia. He met with the 4th military base servicemen and the volunteers from South Ossetia and handed them technical means and equipment. The fighters were provided with reconnaissance equipment - quadrocopters, thermal imagers, walkie-talkies and other technical equipment. The transferred humanitarian cargo also contained winter military equipment, emergency medicines, generators, as well as food.⠀
The President addressed the Ossetian fighters with words of encouragement and thanked them for the courage and heroism they show every day.
