The South Ossetian party at the meeting within the framework of the IPRM once again stated the need to remove the Georgian post in the village of Usta, the head of the South Ossetian delegation Yegor Kochiev told reporters at the briefing.
The first meeting this year in the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) format was held on Tuesday in the village of Ergnet, bordering South Ossetia and Georgia.
“We know that, as a rule, there are 12-15 armed police officers at this post, who are a threat, because they are armed people. And 15 people are a full-blooded platoon that frightens the population of Uista, and people cannot move freely in their area, in their village,” Kochiev said.
At the meeting in the IPRM format, were also discussed issues of illegal crossing of the state border between South Ossetia and Georgia, smuggling, violation of the airspace of the Republic of South Ossetia by drones.
