Abkhazia and South Ossetia are linked by one destiny, warm relations have historically developed between the peoples of independent states, President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev noted during the meeting with President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhaniya at the first Caucasian investment exhibition IEC "MinvodyEXPO".
According to the press service of President of South Ossetia, Aslan Bzhaniya thanked Alan Gagloev for the warm welcome of the Abkhazian delegation and choreographic groups during the Days of Abkhazian Culture in South Ossetia.
“Thank you very much for the warm welcome. I believe that such contacts should be continued. It is very important. Taking this opportunity, I would like to invite you to Abkhazia. We are ready to receive you at any time convenient for you," the press service quotes Bzhania.
Alan Gagloev thanked his colleague for the invitation and noted that he would like to see Aslan Bzhaniya as the honored guest at the celebrations on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the recognition of South Ossetia.
"Thanks for the invitation. In turn, I would also like to invite you to visit South Ossetia. Together we had to go through difficulties, this year the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Abkhazia are celebrating the 15th anniversary of the recognition of the state independence of our republics by the Russian Federation. This is a very significant date for us, because you and I know well the price of a peaceful life,” said President of South Ossetia.
Alan Gagloev has also expressed readiness to discuss all issues related to the development and strengthening of interstate ties, the press service concluded.
