On June 28, South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev sent congratulatory messages to his Syrian counterpart Faisal al-Mikdad and Syrian Ambassador to Russia Bashar Jaafari on the occasion of one of the main Islamic holidays - Eid al-Adha, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
“On June 28, Muslims around the world celebrate one of the main Islamic holidays - Eid al-Adha. The Minister addressed the officials with wishes for peace, kindness and prosperity,” the statement of the press service reads.
In response, the message of thanks from Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Russian Federation, Bashar Jaafari, says that he "with great joy received the minister's congratulations on the occasion of the blessed holiday of Eid al-Adha!"
The Ambassador wished Akhsar Dzhioev, his family and friends, colleagues long life, health and success in all endeavors.
"We pray to the Almighty that our fraternal peoples meet this year in peace, kindness, justice and development," the diplomat said.
