The delegation of the Ministry of Defense of South Ossetia, headed by Minister Marat Pavlov, is taking part in the international military-technical forum "Army-2023", the press service of the department reports on Monday.
The large-scale event of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will be held in the Moscow region from August 14 to 20. Delegations of military departments from more than sixty states are taking part in it.
The South Ossetian delegation, in addition to the Minister, included Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Alan Bolataev, Deputy Minister for the Rear Vephviya Tandelov, Deputy Minister for Personnel Inal Sabanov, Assistant Defense Minister Ruslan Suleimanov.
“The work of the Forum has started today, the facilities of the Patriot park, the Alabino training ground, the Kubinka airfield are involved, 1,500 enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex and companies from foreign countries are represented,” the press service said.
Business and scientific programs are also planned, negotiations with partners from abroad, the signing of contracts worth more than four hundred billion rubles.
The Moscow Conference on International Security is also timed to coincide with the Forum. In addition, the Second International Anti-Fascist Congress will be held, the press service has added.
