Fighters of the Alania battalion, a volunteer unit participating in the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, visited the guests from the Donetsk People's Republic in Tskhinval.
The servicemen conveyed greetings to the DPR guests from the battalion commander, a native of South Ossetia, Ruslan Ostaev (Skif) and presented them with sweet gifts.
Together with the military personnel, the son of the commander of the Alania battalion, Astan Ostaev, who had already managed to visit the area where the special military operation was conducted, also came to visit the Donetsk residents.
The battalion fighter Alan Tibilov has noted that the military personnel are solving the assigned tasks step by step in order to ensure security and peace in the Donbass.
With God’s help, soon the tasks of the special military operation will be solved, the goals will be achieved, and the residents of Donbass will be able to return to peaceful life,” Tibilov said.
The fighters also asked about the well-being and living conditions of the Donetsk residents in Tskhinval.
Svetlana Logacheva, who left her home in the Kiev district of Donetsk with two children, expressed great gratitude to the fighters for the attention provided.
“It’s always nice to see the guys who come to us from our homeland,” Logacheva has noted. “We really hope that the special operation will be completed soon.” We really want to go home, we all have relatives there.”
Logacheva noted that her husband and relatives were waiting for her at home.
“Very good conditions have been created for us and the children; the children in South Ossetia are especially comfortable, but there is a home there and they want to go home,” Logacheva shared.
Nadezhda Gudz from the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk also thanked the servicemen.
“Thanks to the fighters of the Alania battalion, but we must pay this attention to them. Health and strength to the guys, who are now carrying out combat missions in the special military operation zone, may each of them return alive to those who love and are waiting for them,” Gudz has emphasized.
Gudz has added that they hope every day to complete the special military operation.
