President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev is holding a meeting on the twenty-second meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) on socio-economic cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation, which will be held in Tskhinval on November 17.
According to the press service of the head of state, the meeting is attended by the head of the Presidential Executive Office Alan Margiev, Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev, First Deputy Prime Minister Alan Dzhioev, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance Dzambolat Tadtaev, Minister of Economic Development Sarmat Kotaev, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services Konstantin Eldzarov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Oleg Gagloev.
The agenda has included the provision of financial assistance by the Russian Federation to South Ossetia in 2023 for the purpose of its socio-economic development, including the implementation of the agreements concluded within the framework of the development of the Treaty of Alliance and Integration, the state program “Socio-economic development of the Republic of South Ossetia in 2022-2025”, the action plan to optimize the energy supply of the Republic of South Ossetia, previous investment programs, as well as customs interaction between the two countries.
The previous meeting of the Commission was held in Moscow on February 8, 2023.
