The Alan community of MGIMO represented Ossetia at the cultural festival of the peoples of Russia “Heritage”, reports the press service of the Moscow Ossetian Community.
“Unity, friendship and brotherhood are the fundamental elements of relations between the peoples of multinational Russia” - it was under this slogan that at the end of November MGIMO hosted a gala concert of the cultural festival of the peoples of Russia “Heritage”, organized by the Community of Russian University Students.
The guys presented a video about the legends and traditions of Ossetia.
The creative number was based on the plot of the epic about the beautiful Akola, who, having seen the beautiful simd of the Narts, came out of her tower for the first time.
Honored Artist of the Republic of South Ossetia Radion Gularov supported the guys with his performance and performed the composition “Oh, mæ warzon chyzg”.
Student representatives of Ossetian fraternities from various Moscow universities came to cheer for their fellow countrymen.
The festival gathered more than 700 spectators and consolidated the traditions of friendship and respect in the multinational MGIMO family. Representatives of 13 regions of the Russian Federation performed bright creative numbers at the concert, and Denis Maidanov and Magomed Dzybov have become the guests of honor at the event.
As part of the festival, the exhibition of national associations was also organized, where household items and cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia have been presented.
