In Tskhinval, in front of the State Drama Theater, the exhibition “Crimea - 80th anniversary of the feat” opened on Monday, dedicated to the liberation of Crimea and Sevastopol from the Nazi invaders.
The initiators of the exhibition in the capital are the public organization of Russian compatriots “Rossy” with the support of the Russian House in Tskhinval.
“Today is the first day of the exhibition. It is represented in different regions of Russia, and we also decided to join this initiative. The exhibition is dedicated to the feat of soldiers and officers of the Red Army, Black Sea sailors, participants in the partisan movement, who in the spring of 1944, during stubborn battles, liberated the Crimea and the legendary Sevastopol from the Nazi invaders, taking another step towards Victory,” Chairman of Rossy Svetlana Kotaeva said to IA “Res” .
The exhibition “Crimea – 80th anniversary of the feat” was created by the Victory Museum with the participation of the Museum-Reserve of the Heroic Defense and Liberation of Sevastopol, the Central Museum of Taurida and the Russian Information Agency TASS. Photographs, drawings and memories are a documentary narrative that immerses in the atmosphere of courage and heroism, fortitude and devotion to the Motherland.
The exhibition in Tskhinval will run until May 9 inclusive.
