On Saturday, Ambassador of South Ossetia to Russia, Znaur Gassiev, laid flowers at the monument to the victims of the Beslan tragedy on the square in front of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Kulishki (Alan Compound) in Moscow, the press service of the diplomatic department of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation reports.
“The laying ceremony was attended by the Embassy staff, as well as a delegation of the permanent mission of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania to President of the Russian Federation, headed by Deputy Chairman, Plenipotentiary Representative of North Ossetia-Alania Igor Barskov, representatives of the Moscow Ossetian community led by leader Alan Abaev, representatives of the Ossetian and the Moscow public," the statement of the press service reads
The commemorative event is dedicated to the International Children's Day and is held annually on June 1.
