Nicolas Maduro's convincing victory in the presidential elections in Venezuela clearly demonstrated the national recognition of his merits to the country, the high trust of the people and support for his program aimed at developing the country and meeting the aspirations of the people. This is stated in the congratulatory address of the leader of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev to the newly elected President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro.
Venezuela held presidential elections last Sunday. The country's authorities announced that the incumbent President Nicolas Maduro had won.
Gagloev has emphasized that the results of the presidential elections once again confirmed the high authority and leading role of Maduro in the implementation of state policy reflecting the will of the people of Venezuela.
"Highly appreciating your contribution to strengthening the relations of friendship and cooperation between our states, I express confidence that these good relations will continue to strengthen and develop with your support and active participation," the South Ossetian President's congratulation reads.
He wished Maduro good health, new achievements and the implementation of all plans aimed at the prosperity of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and well-being to the entire fraternal Venezuelan people.
