The South Ossetian delegation will take part in the Russian World Assembly in Moscow, - Lali Kokoeva, Deputy Director of the Russian Center of the Russian World Foundation at the South Ossetian State University, told IA "Res".
She has specified that the event will traditionally be held on the eve of National Unity Day on November 2-3. The 16th Russian World Assembly will be opened by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
"In Moscow, representatives of Russian and foreign organizations from different countries will discuss the spiritual and moral values of the Russian world," Kokoeva said.
Kokova has noted that South Ossetia has been taking part in this Assembly every year.
"An extensive cultural and educational program is also provided for the participants of the event, which has included: visits to libraries, museums and theaters of the city of Moscow."
The Assembly will be attended by famous political and public figures, heads of ministries and departments, representatives of compatriot associations, university professors and teachers of Russian schools, authors of textbooks, scientists, writers, diplomats, clergy, cultural scientists, journalists.
The South Ossetian delegation will include: Rector of the South Ossetia State University Vadim Tedeev, Deputy Head of the Russian Center of the Russkiy Mir Foundation Lali Kokoeva, Editor-in-Chief of the Yuzhnaya Ossetiya newspaper Zalina Tskhovrebova, Artistic Director of the State Drama Theater Tamerlan Dzudtsov.
