The Russian Emergencies Ministry will supply new special equipment to the South Ossetian colleagues

The Russian Emergencies Ministry is working on the issue of providing assistance to the South Ossetian colleagues in repairing the existing and supplying new special equipment, sets of outfit, as well as organizing a videoconferencing system. This was announced by the head of the Russian rescue Ministry, Alexander Kurenkov, during a meeting with Minister of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia, Ibrahim Gasseev, in Moscow, the press service of the department reported.

“The Russian Emergencies Ministry is open to fruitful cooperation for the benefit of protecting the population and territories from natural and man-made hazards. For its part, the department is ready to provide the necessary support,” Alexander Kurenkov assured.

Ibrahim Gasseyev noted the significant progress in bilateral cooperation.

“Experts from the Russian Emergencies Ministry provided invaluable assistance in solving critical issues facing the South Ossetian Emergencies Ministry. For this I express special gratitude,” Gasseev said.

During the negotiations, Alexander Kurenkov and Ibrahim Gasseev have also noted that cooperation between the rescue agencies is developing and showing high efficiency in key areas of activity.
