The energy supply situation in Transnistria was the topic of a telephone conversation between the heads of the Foreign Ministries of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and South Ossetia, Vitaly Ignatiev and Akhsar Dzhioev.
According to the press service of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry, the parties also discussed the measures taken by the PMR leadership to minimize the consequences of the energy crisis.
“On behalf of President of South Ossetia, Akhsar Dzhioev expressed support for residents of Transnistrian, who found themselves under unprecedented pressure, and wished them fortitude and a speedy exit from this difficult situation,” the press service has reported.
During the conversation, some aspects of bilateral cooperation were also touched upon, and the importance of further development of the South Ossetian-Transnistrian relations was emphasized.
