A volunteer Felix Bestaev, perished while performing his military duty in the area of the special military operation has been given the last honors in Tskhinval.
The leadership of South Ossetia, representatives of the ministries and departments, the deputy corps, the Russian Embassy, the 4th military base, as well as relatives and friends of the deceased came to pay last tributes to him.
At the funeral rally, it was noted that Bestaev was a kind-hearted person, was helping his family and proved himself to be a true hero.
As shared by another speaker, today is a black day not only for the Bestaev family, but for the entire Ossetia.
“Our best sons are leaving us and we all really hope that all this will end soon. I had known Felix for many years and he was a very decent person, everyone loved him,” was said at the rally.
The fighter was posthumously awarded the “Defender of the Fatherland” medal.
Felix Bestaev was 44 years old, he left behind a daughter.
