In South Ossetia, the "Immortal Regiment" event dedicated to the anniversary of Victory will be held in the expanded format.
As noted by Deputy Head of the Presidential Executive Office Alan Tibilov at the press conference, the procession with portraits of the heroes will take place not only in Tskhinval, but also in the Republic's districts, such as Dzau and Leningor.
"For each of us, both in South Ossetia and in Russia, it is extremely important to preserve the memory of the defenders. In the columns of the "Immortal Regiment", participants will carry portraits of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, as well as those perished during the special military operation, who, like 80 years ago, were fighting for a just cause," Tibilov said.
