South Ossetia will host a group of Russian bloggers, journalists and brewers specializing in beer. As reported to IA" Res" by Taimuraz Goginov, the Republic's trade representative in Russia, told, the guests will learn about ancient brewing traditions, visit modern production facilities and, of course, taste local varieties.
"As part of the visit, which will be taking place from May 3 to 5, a visit to a home brewery is planned. We want to show and tell the guests about our ancient brewing traditions. Murat Khachirov will show how our ancestors were brewing this drink more than a thousand years ago," Goginov said.
In addition, a city tour is planned for the guests. The central event of the blog tour will be a visit to the flagship exporter of the intoxicating drink.
"The guests will visit the High-Mountain Kel Brewery plant. There will be a joint brewing of two new varieties, one of them with honey according to the ancient recipe. There will also be tastings,” the trade representative has shared.
According to Taimuraz Goginov, bloggers and journalists will share their impressions on social networks and other information resources, which will help increasing the recognition of the South Ossetian beer and interest in the product on the Russian market.
The total audience of invited experts is tens of thousands of people, which will undoubtedly have a positive effect on the promotion of the brand and draw attention to the unique features of the South Ossetian brewing.
