The Association of Veterans of the special military operation posthumously awarded the medal "Participant in the special military operation in Ukraine" to four soldiers from South Ossetia.
Alan Bagaev, Andrey Bakaev, Soslan Dzhioev and Sergey Kabisov were awarded posthumously for honor, courage, bravery and recognition of indisputable services to the Fatherland.
As reported to IA "Res" by representative of the Association Soslan Kochiev, commander of the "Alania" battalion Ruslan Ostaev (call sign "Skif") petitioned to honor the memory of the fallen soldiers and visit their families.
On behalf of the Chairman of the Association of Veterans of the special military operation Oleg Magkeev, representatives of the organization Eduard Gussoev, Soslan Kochiev and Vyacheslav Tsagaraev expressed words of condolence to the families of the soldiers killed in the special military operation zone, each family was presented with the award and the Ossetian tricolor with the call sign of the soldier printed on it.
"Our brothers in arms showed courage, bravery and patriotism, defending the Fatherland. The memory of them will remain with us forever. In any situation, their relatives can turn to the Association for help," Kochiev said.
Representatives of the Association expressed words of gratitude to the Mayor of Vladikavkaz Vyacheslav Mildzikhov, with whose assistance and support was organized a visit to the families of the perished soldiers from South Ossetia,.
In turn, for the courage and dedication shown in the performance of military duty during the special military operation, representatives of the Association were awarded high awards of the Defense Ministry of the Republic of South Ossetia.
The medals "For Military Merit" were presented to Eduard Gussoev, Soslan Kochiev and Vyacheslav Tsagaraev by the Defense Minister of the Republic of South Ossetia Inal Sabanov.
The Association of Veterans of the special military operation was created in 89 regions of the Russian Federation. The organization is engaged in patriotic education of citizens, perpetuating the memory of fallen defenders of the Fatherland, supporting family members of special military operation, participants, protecting the rights and interests of veterans of the special operation.
