The first meeting of the Cooperation Commission between the Parliament of South Ossetia and the State Duma of the Federal Council of the Russian Federation will take place in Moscow.
According to the press service of the South Ossetian Parliament, the meeting will take place on December 3 in the State Duma building. The South Ossetian Parliamentary delegation is led by Zita Besaeva, First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament and Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Legislation, Rule of Law, and Local Self-Government.
The delegation has also included Taimuraz Tadtayv, Deputy Speaker of the RSO Parliament and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education and Science; Sergei Kharebaty, Deputy Speaker of the RSO Parliament; Zaza Driayev, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-parliamentary Relations; Spartak Tomaev, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Budget and Taxes; Alexander Pliev, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare; Ruslan Khubezhty, Chairman of the Committee on National Policy, Culture, Religion, and Media; Alimbeg Siukaev, Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Defense and Security; Konstantin Pliev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Economy, Small Entrepreneurship, and Agriculture; Atsamaz Bibilov, head of the United Ossetia faction and Vera Gagloeva, Assistant to the First Deputy Speaker of the RSO Parliament and Secretary of the South Ossetian Section of the Commission.
During their trip to Moscow, the deputies will also hold a number of meetings with the State Duma factions.
