On Tuesday, the Russian Foreign Ministry held interagency consultations between the South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev and the leadership of the Fourth CIS Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, which oversees the Caucasus.
During the meeting, the parties held a detailed exchange of views on the most pressing aspects of the regional agenda.
"During the conversation, the current regional issues were discussed, as well as issues of South Ossetian-Russian bilateral cooperation, including between the foreign ministries," the press service of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry has noted.
