After nine months since August 2008, the process of reconstruction of houses destroyed during the Georgian aggression is ongoing. The School #5 building, which was badly damaged during the shelling of Tskhinval, is being reconstructed thanks to the humanitarian assistance provided by Arkhangelsk oblast.

Учитывая то, что я был еще молод к началу войны, я принял в ней участие только в 1945 году.
Помню, как я все время пытался преодолеть свой страх. Боялись все, кто воевал. Но редко признавал это. Мы пытались воодушевлять друг друга, не давали друг другу унывать. Пели песни в землянке, шутили, и каждый старался казаться сильным.
