The feat of Marat Tibilov will forever remain in the memory of grateful compatriots, and his name - a symbol of valor and honor. This was noted by President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev in his condolences to the family and friends of the hero on the occasion of his death.

The President has noted that Marat Tibilov showed courage, fortitude and selflessness, remaining faithful to his military duty and oath.

A memorial plaque to Azamat Bestaev, perished during the special military operation, was unveiled in Tskhinval. The ceremony was attended by the hero's relatives and friends, fellow servicemen from the 4th Russian military base and concerned residents of the capital.

Aza Bestaeva, former principal of School No. 5, where Azamat studied, shared her memories of the hero.

"He was our pupil. I remember him as a wonderful, calm, cultured and polite boy," she said.

Bestaeva emphasized Azamat's remarkable character traits, his love for teachers, school and comrades.

Russian compatriots of South Ossetia virtually handed over the "Victory Bouquet" of 73 carnations to the Russian compatriots in Algeria as part of the International Patriotic Action for the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This was reported to the "Res" news agency by Natalia Zhuykova, a member of the World Coordinating Council of South Ossetia.

According to her, the virtual "Victory Bouquet" was handed over to the Russian compatriots in South Ossetia by Turkey.

The event was organized by the Coordinating Council of the Organization of Russian Compatriots in South Ossetia together with the Union of Russian Citizens of the Republic of South Ossetia.

Mikhail Budziev, a call sign "Kudar", a fighter of the "Storm-Ossetia" battalion, told the IA "Res" about how they had managed to rescue their brothers in arms.

According to the fighter, nine fighters from various units were surrounded for six days.

Russia Day in Tskhinval will be celebrated with a concert by the Nadezhdina State Academic Group "Beryozka".

The widely known Russian creative group will perform in South Ossetia by the agreement between Ministries of Culture of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation as part of the cultural exchange project.

"On the stage of the Kosta Khetagurov State Drama Theater, the creative group will present a large solo program. The organizer of the group’s tour is Rosconcert," the press service of Ministry of Culture of the Republic of South Ossetia has noted.

Employees of the Migration Department, together with representatives of the KGB, conducted a planned raid in Tskhinval.

The event was organized as part of monitoring compliance with migration legislation.

"During the raid, the law enforcement officers checked 17 households in which foreign citizens are temporarily residing.

Particular attention was paid to the presence of the necessary documents confirming the legality of their stay in the Republic," the press service has noted.

As a result of the raid, no violations of migration legislation were revealed.
