According to the head of state, all decisions made by the South Ossetian authorities to counteract the penetration of coronavirus into the Republic were correct and aimed at maintaining the safety of citizens.

As of April 23, 47 people are under the supervision of doctors in inpatient medical institutions in South Ossetia (36 people a day earlier), and 10 people are in self - isolation, Marina Kochieva, Chairman of the Committee of South Ossetian Consumer Rights Protection, told IA "RES" .

"34 people are in the Republican multidisciplinary center, 10 in the isolation ward, and three more are in the Leningor hospital," she said.

In addition, three people from among the 18 drivers who deliver goods to the Republic in heavy trucks are quarantined in the hotel "Alan".

No cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in South Ossetia

As of April 22, 36 people are under medical supervision in South Ossetia, 10 are self-isolated, said Anna Gagloeva, Deputy Chairman of the South Ossetian Committee for Consumer Rights Protection.
