The Head of State welcomed the guest on the soil of South Ossetia, noting a great work done by him to promote the interests of the Republic.
"I am glad to welcome a great friend of the Ossetian people, a man who has been doing a lot to enhance the positive image of the Republic of South Ossetia, to advance our issues in Western Europe", - said Leonid Tibilov .
Giulietto Chiesa has told the president that he intends again to stand for the European Parliament, where he will have more opportunities to deal with the issues, including the South Ossetian ones.
"It is very important to have a spokesman in the European Parliament, who will represent the interests of South Ossetia", - he said.
Leonid Tibilov emphasized that in the Republic highly appreciate the efforts and capabilities of the Italian politician.
