The South-Ossetian free-style wrestler Inal Tasoev has become the bronze prize-winner of the World championship which has come to the end in Budapest on free-style wrestling among the sportsmen born in 1994-1995. It has been reported to the news agency "Res" by the trainer of the athlete Tamerlan Kochiev. «Tasoev has struggled in a weight category to 100 kg. He had four fights.

On August, 26 the third anniversary of the independence recognition of the Republic of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation is celebrated. It has been done much on the international scene for the last years. Priority direction of our foreign policy is cooperation strengthening with the Russian Federation.

The President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and the President of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity have discussed the questions of bilateral relations strengthening at the meeting in the Sochi residence of the Russian leader. The negotiations have passed on the threshold of the third anniversary of independence recognition of South Ossetia and Abkhazia by Russia. During the negotiations the presidents of two countries have emphasized the questions of strengthening bilateral interaction and the international issues connected with development of South Ossetia.

Today the Ministry of Emergency of Russia will deliver 116 tons of humanitarian aid.to South Ossetia As informed by the President`s Administration of the RSO, a column, consisting of 11 trucks, will arrive at the central square of Tskhinval by noon. The head of the Ministry of Emergency of Russia Sergey Shojgu will visit the Republic for transferring the cargo to the authorities of South Ossetia.

The Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia is informed about the so-called «peace march» to South Ossetia which is being prepared by the Georgian leadership. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia has announced, that the Republic will not allow any complications on the frontier. As the Foreign Minister of South Ossetia Murat Dzhioev has informed the news agency "Res", «according to the available information, the authorities of Georgia are going to aggravate the situation around the border on the eve of August, 26, when South Ossetia will celebrate the third anniversary of recognition of the Republic of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation».

Participants of the Interdepartmental humanitarian action -«Mutual aid, Cooperation, Safety»- have arrived in North Ossetia. At the airport where they were met by representatives of the leadership of South Ossetia, participants of the action have conducted a short briefing. They have told about purposes of the Interdepartmental Humanitarian Action which, according to the organizers, is aimed at creation of favorable conditions for functioning of the state bodies of the Republic. As the news agency "Res" has been informed at the press-service of the President and government of the RSO, the main target is focused on rendering medical aid to the population of South Ossetia by the doctors of the field hospital «Protection« at the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation and the Main clinical military hospital of FSS of Russia.

Representatives of the International Ossetian Societies Association "Renaissance" have taken part in the work of 79 session of the United Nations Committee on liquidation of racial discrimination which passed in Geneva (Switzerland) from August, 15 till August, 17. Reports of the following states-participants have been considered at the session: Albania, Czech Republic, Georgia, Kenya, Republic of Maldives, Malta, Paraguay, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. The Session work sticks to the following scheme. The states – member of the United Nations -represent their reports on a considered problematic. And the public organizations, in turn, represent alternative reports that the Committee-men would have received more objective information.
