The sportsmen of the judo school in Znaurskiy district of South Ossetia Soslan Valiev, Aslan Gergaulov and David Kozaev have left for Anapa for participation in the fourth All-Russian juvenile games on martial arts. As reported by the trainer of the judoists Inal Gabaraev to the news agency "Res", the competition will be passing from September, 12 till September, 22, 2011. Our judoists will compete in the sambo contest.
The sportsmen-dominoes players- from Tskhinval will take part in the eighth World Championship on dominoes. As the trainer of the South-Ossetian team Roman Kokoev has informed the news agency "Res" the competition will pass in the city Sukhum, (Republic of Abkhazia) from October, 17 till October, 21st, 2011. The competition will take place both in individual and team championship. Our sportsmen George Bagaev, Igor Guchmazov, Alan Gubiev and Edward Bekoev will take part in the championship.
The Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Republic of Nicaragua Narim Kozaev has handed over the credentials to the President of the Republic of Venezuela during his official visit to the Republic of Nicaragua. Our delegation has initiated to update the agreement on recognition of independence of Transdniestria by South Ossetia and Abkhazia, signed in 2006. We consider that now after the recognition of independence of South Ossetia by Russia this agreement should move on to the new level», - Kaziev has noted.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in the near future intends to start building of the water passage in the settlement Satikar (South Ossetia). It has been reported to the news agency "Res" by the engineer of water supply and improvement of living conditions department of the ICRC Vladimir Verchenko. Award presentation of the South-Ossetian schoolboys – the winners of the International festival of children's art creativity «First in Space»- which passed in Moscow, has taken place at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in South Ossetia. Today the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia will start distribution of the humanitarian aid which has arrived in the Republic within the frames of the Interdepartmental humanitarian action «Mutual aid. Cooperation. Safety» on the instruction of the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev. The Minister for Emergency Situations of the RSO Anatoly Bibilov has informed the news agency "Res" about it.
