All the electoral processes of the presidential election in South Ossetia comply with the current legislation of South Ossetia and are being held without any violations. This has been declared the Russian official of the Coordinating Council of NGOs for protection of citizens' voting rights, Igor Bogdanov at a briefing of the CEC Information Center. According to him, he was present at the opening of the four polling stations. "We are seeing a complete ensuring of the electoral rights of citizens of South Ossetia.
Representatives of our organization are keeping to the rules when monitoring presidential elections in South Ossetia", - he stressed. Bogdanov said that people had already been waiting for the vote at the entrances of the polls before their opening.
"The procedure of sealing portable and stationary boxes went off in an organized way. Their transparency provides controlling piles, which may be thrown into a ballot-box and also provides the secret vote of the citizens", - said the observer. He also drew attention to the fact that the voters lists had been drawn up so as to simplify the working process of the polling stations. In the course of monitoring there were also held sessions of telephone and Internet video communication with the Board at the polls. It was noted that the process of voting met the requirements of the law and the Constitution of the Republic of South Ossetia.
"We are now seeing a long queue, the activity is very dynamic and the situation is calm at the poll. For the time being, 388 people have already voted out of the 1360 registered voters, "- reported the polling station number 13.
The chairman of the poll has also reported that by the additional lists 30 people voted at the 13-th polling station. According to information obtained by the live video transmission from the polling station number 1, located in the district "Moscow", no violations have been recorded there as well.
