Expert Opinion: Thee demand to withdraw the Russian forces is a demand to allow physical extermination of tens of thousand peaceful people

24/06/2010 - 14:12

South Ossetia does not need any additional legitimization, as any other internationally recognized states doe not need it. This is how South Ossetian expert Inal Pliev commented on the statement made by the Georgian State Minister Yakobashvili, who said that "Russia will not be allowed to legitimize so-called South Ossetia" and called for withdrawal of the forces of Russia from South Ossetia. "The Russian forces are maintaining peace in South Ossetia and protect the peaceful living of its residents. Georgia wants the withdrawal of the Russian force to bring its own forces and exterminate the people of South Ossetia, as it has already done before. For around 20 years, Russia was not present in the same capacity in South Ossetia as it is now, and it led to deaths of hundreds and thousands of people. The demand to withdraw the Russian forces is the demand to allow physical extermination of tens of thousand peaceful people. It is a demand of blood-thirsty people", stated Pliev.
