The president of the republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity met on 9 June with the Russian Federation deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin.
Eduard Kokoity in his interview to IA «Res» correspondent said the meeting was very important.
«It was very important. It was necessary to discuss the questions pertaining to ongoing policy of Georgia’s militarization and its provocative activity. Georgia today actually stopped the negotiation process. Russia as a main guarantor of security within the Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone is undertaking all possible measures for the amelioration of situation. However, it is necessary to bend every effort to prevent force intervention and to secure the vital activity of economical infrastructure»-said the President of RSO.
