The Government Officials of South Ossetia visited Kvaisa

A delegation of Government officials of the Republic of South Ossetia headed President Eduard Kokoity paid a visit to Djava district. The delegation included Stanislav kochiev, Parliament Speaker, the newly appointed First Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zelig, Interior Minister Valery Valiev, Head of Emercom Anatoly Bibilov, First Deputy Defense Minister Ibragim Gasseev, the Head of the State Committee for Reconstruction Zurab Kabisov and other officials.
As reported by RSO Government Press-Service, during this trip the delegation visited several sites in Djava district. In Kvaisa, President and Government officials visited Kirov school, had a meeting with population affected by the earthquake.

“A long meeting was held with inhabitants of the houses, which were damaged in the earthquake. President had concrete tasks for the Government on the follow-up steps, says the report. Initially, there were 139 families registered. On the ground, the delegation found out that one more family was not included into this list of people needing housing. This family consists of the mother, Liana Khugaeva, and her four children. These beneficiaries were also included into the list.”
Based on the results of the meeting with the residents of Kvaisa, the Government officials held an operational meeting, at which President tasked to establish a commission to deal with the damage and reconstruction in Djava district. “It was decided that these people would be placed in separate houses. The houses will be connected to autonomous water supply, heating, gas and sewerage, said the Press-service report. Term of implementation of these works were fixed. The work should be done quickly to be able to hand them over by December. First Deputy Prime-Minister Alexander Zelig was assigned to monitor and control the implementation”.
The cost of this project on reconstruction of 140 houses is 170 mil RUR.
