The President of South Ossetia Eduard kokoity expressed his sympathy and condolences to the families of those killed and injured in the tragedy at the TRANSKAM main road, reported the Head of President’s Administration Arsen Gagloev Sunday evening.
“The airplane of the president of South Ossetia landed in Dublin, capital city of Ireland, for refuel. The president was informed on the tragedy in the Republic. Upon his decision, all the families of those killed in the accident will receive material assistance”, said Gagloev. According to the Head of Administration, the president decided on creation of state commission to rapidly and objectively investigate the accident, provide assistance to the families of killed and support the wounded. He also reported that Eduard Kokoity was on his way to Nicaragua. The delegation is arriving at 20:00 local time, Sunday. Eduard Kokoty is paying his first official visit to Nicaragua and Venezuela after their recognition of the independence of South Ossetia.
