Inter-regional Youth Forum “The Caucasus Today and Tomorrow”: Open Youth Dialogue to be held in the capital of North Ossetia-Alania to focus on issues of security, economy and civil society in the Caucasus, reports Pyotr Pavlov, the Chair of North Ossetia’s Youth Parliament Committee.
According to him, the forum is to take place on November 30 - December 1 in the city of Vladikavkaz and is held upon the initiative of the Youth Parliament of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania, the Youth Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of the Federation of the RF with the support of the "Foundation for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education, and " The Peacemaker Foundation" .
"The forum will establish an inter-regional youth laboratory for development of the Caucasus to become a permanent informal intellectual platform for the consolidation of constructive forces capable of giving an adequate analysis of the socio-political and socio-economic situation in the region", says Pavlov.
The forum will bring together leading experts well-known scholars, political scientists, public and religious figures, representatives of state authorities and entities of the Russian Federation.
According to Pavlov, the initiative is supported by youth organizations and the academic community of the North Caucasus, Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
