In connection with death of the President of Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh, all the festive actions, planned for the 19-th anniversary of the Act of declaration of independence of South Ossetia, are cancelled. This has been reported IA "Res» at the press-service of the President and the Government of the RSO."Today only the ceremonial meeting dedicated to the memorable for the Republic event – adopting the Act of declaration of independence- will take place in Tskhinval.
The meeting will start with a silence minute. The other actions, including the opening of the Republican stadium in Tskhinval as well as the concert of the Russian variety stars are postponed", - has been reported at the press-service. We should remind that the Act of declaration of independence of South Ossetia was adopted on 29 May 1992 by the Supreme Council of the RSO.
