13 initiative groups on presidential nomination of the Republic have submitted their documents to the Central Election Committee of South Ossetia. It has been reported to the news agency "Res" by the member of the Central Election Committee of the RSO Marina Tskhovrebova. According to her words, at present seven initiative groups on presidential nomination of the Republic have been registered at the Central Election Committee and now they have the right to gather 1000 signatures of citizens of the Republic. Packages of documents on registration of six more initiative groups are in a consideration stage in the Central Election Committee of the RSO.
These are the initiative groups nominating Alla Dzhioeva (ex-Minister for Education of the RSO), Valery Tedeev (ex-Deputy Minister for Defence of South Ossetia), Ajvar Bestaev (Branch Manager of the Republican hospital of Tskhinval), Albert Dzhussoev (Chief Executive Officer of the Public Corporation "Stroyprogress"), Dzhemal Dzhigkaev (Manager of the Computer Diagnostics Cabinet of the Republican Hospital), Vyacheslav Gobozov- (a leader of the Party "Fydybaesta"). «Alan Kochiev's initiative group (the trainer of the child-juvenile sports school on weightlifting) has already presented 1000 collected signatures of citizens of the RSO to the Central Election Committee of the RSO, and within ten days it will receive an official reply», - Tskhovrebova has said. It should be noticed that Alan Kochiev is in custody on suspicion of beating the deputy of the Parliament of the RSO Alexander Pliev. «Initiative groups nominating Dmitry Tasoev (a leader of the Social-Democratic Party liquidated in March,2011 under the claim of Ministry of Justice of the RSO), Vladimir Kelekhsaev (the deputy of the Parliament of the RSO of the third and fourth convocations), Sergey Bitiev (the chief bailiff of the Ministry of Justice of the RSO), Vadim Tskhovrebov ( Director of the South-Ossetian Enterprise of Bakery Products), Geno Kadzhaev (a painter), Dzhambolat Tedeev (the Head Coach of the Russian National Team on free-style wrestling have also been registered)», - Tskhovrebova has noted. She has pointed out that the registered initiative groups should submit the subscription lists with 1000 signatures till October, 9. «After the collection of signatures the authorized representatives of the political parties, voting blocs and the initiative group of voters count up the total number of the collected signatures of voters. The subscription lists stitched and numbered, the total report, the statement of the presidential candidate to run for president of the Republic of South Ossetia and the declaration of incomes of the candidate for two previous years, are submitted to the Central Election Committee of the Republic of South Ossetia by the authorized representatives of the political parties, selective blocks and initiative groups of voters till 18 o'clock not later than 35 days to elections; it will give the mentioned authorized representatives the written confirmation of the documents acceptance. After that the Central Election Committee, having considered all submitted documents, will make a decision on registration of the presidential candidates», -Tskhovrebova has noted. Meanwhile, the parliamentary parties of South Ossetia have not yet nominated the presidential candidates. It should be reminded that on November, 13 elections of the head of the state will take place in South Ossetia, as the second term of office of the serving President of the RSO Eduard Kokoity is expiring.
