The elections in South Ossetia comply with the international standards. This has been declared by a representative of the International Election Observation «CIS-EMO» Dekrok Olivier at a briefing of the CEC Information Centre of South Ossetia. He has stressed that one can talk about the high turnout of voters - by 10:00, according to him, more than 10% of voters visited the polls.
"Having visited four polling stations, a high turnout was recorded. It says of the high level of political life. The election campaign fully complies with the European and democratic standards. The polls are equipped properly and comply with all regulations. We can see the election observers of all the candidates everywhere,"- said Olivier.
Talking about the differences in the electoral process in South Ossetia and France, Olivier Dekrok approved the right of the electors in South Ossetia to vote against all candidates.
